Language Lab
CLAVIS in Roskilde has a digital language lab that fits 16 people. This language lab enables the students to work intensively with pronunciation and spoken language and there is access to a broad range of material for pronunciation and listening exercises, including material that has been developed by teachers of the school. The language lab plays central role in the pronunciation lessons and all the teachers are trained in using the language lab optimally.
Computer Lab
From all teaching localities there is access to modern computers with the latest software that can be used in both classes and during breaks. From these computers there is access to Danish Online and CLAVIS Online as well as a number of e-learning programs.
Smart Boards
Smart boards will be found in almost all classrooms of CLAVIS. A smart board is an interactive whiteboard with a touchscreen. Smart boards are connected to all audiovisual media and electronic devices at CLAVIS. The smart boards have internet access and can be used for audio- and film screening. The teacher can save all notes from the smart board directly in a file that the students can download from home.
Wireless Network
A wireless network is found at all halls and common areas and students can have access from their personal computers.
Danish Online and CLAVIS Online
Students will be given access to the electronic learning platforms Danish Online and CLAVIS Online, where information about the class work and home assignments are given. There are furthermore interactive grammar excercises, listening exercises, a very broad range of pronunciation exercises etc. available on Danish Online and CLAVIS Online. Through online learning it is possible to combine a busy work or study schedule with a flexible Danish course.
