Danish Language Proficiency Test

If you have completed Danish Education 3 and you wish to develop your Danish skills even further then the Proficiency Test is a possibility.

Aim of the course
The Proficiency Test requires in-depth knowledge of language and content. The purpose of the Proficiency Test course is to enable the students to express themselves in proficient written and spoken Danish with a very high level of accuracy.
The goal is to be able to participate in the Danish social debate and to develop the necessary skills in order to attend a higher education or to be employed on ordinary terms in the Danish work market.
A broad knowledge of the Danish Language and Danish society will be attained. Students will be capable of a relevant language usage in practically all kinds of context both in speaking and writing. Furthermore, the students will develop their argumentation and reasoning skills.

Time and place 
CLAVIS currently offers The Proficiency Test in CLAVIS Roskilde Tuesday and Thursday from 17.30-20.00.
Classes can also take place in the morning, afternoon, evening and at weekends according to demand and when minimum 10 students have enrolled.

Prices
Tuition is free for foreign citizens with a Danish CPR-number. Tuition will be paid by the municipality in which you reside.

Examinations
Proficiency Test examinations are held twice a year. Please notice that there is a registration deadline. The fee for the Proficiency Test is DKK 627 for the written part and DKK 627 for the oral part. The total fee amounts to DKK 1254.

The Proficiency Test is required for admission at GIF, HF and higher education, dependent on your grade point average and the requirements of the specific educational institution.
