The Active Citizen Test (Medborgerskabsprøve)

In order to get a permanent residence permit in Denmark it is necessary to obtain 15 points for having displayed active citizenship. Those 15 points can be obtained through active membership of a board or an organization or by passing the Active Citizen Exam.

The Active Citizen Test is a written exam containing 15 questions about Danish citizenship, Danish society, history, culture and art.

Test and registrations dates
The Active Citizen Test is held every year in June.  The next exam will take place June 1st, 2012. Registration deadline is April 27th.

The fee for the Active Citizen Test is DKK 693.

Registration is done at CLAVIS' offices in Greve and Roskilde, where the registration fee will also be paid. Photo identification is required.
