Even though your corporate language at Abacus Medicine may be English, the language between colleagues during lunchtime or at the coffee machine quickly turns into Danish. Or an email correspondence starting out in English changes into Danish.
Our focus is practicing oral Danish but as important it is to conversate it is also important to know about the technical language and written procedures in Danish.
Besides learning the spoken language, we will look at cultural and social understanding. For example, the way to be polite in one culture can be considered, unpolite in another. You will also learn about the typical Danish humor and irony.
One of our tools is to record conversations and small talk between course participants and Danish colleagues at the beginning of the course and once again at the end of the course to facilitate and monitor the learning progress.
The tuition will take place once a week with 2 x 60 minutes.
Lessons are sceduled from 16:00 – 18:00 at Abacus Medicine.
When you sign-up you have to choose what day of the week you prefer to have danish lessons. The actual day of the week will be based on all the replys.
