A deposit is a statutory security deposit of 2,000 DKK that, in certain cases, must be paid before you can begin a Danish language course. The rules are set forth in the legislation governing Danish language education and apply to individuals subject to the deposit requirements. When paying your deposit, you can choose to pay via our online store, by bank transfer, or via MobilePay. The payment must be registered before your enrollment in the Danish language program can be processed.

You can apply to have your deposit refunded once the conditions for a refund have been met. This applies, for example, if you complete your modules within the specified time frame or pass the final Danish language exam in accordance with the applicable rules. Apply to have your deposit refunded.
The deposit is governed by the legislation on Danish language education for adult foreign nationals. This legislation specifies, among other things, who is required to pay the deposit, the conditions for reimbursement, and the deadlines that must be met.
