International staff and accompanying partners ect. at Aarhus University can receive tuition in Danish in cooperation with CLAVIS. The tuition can take place at the university or online.
The tuition is specifically targeted the employees and will be an addition to the life at campus and in Denmark as well as an opportunity to meet and network with international colleagues from across campus.
The Danish Education provides you with the necessary language skills you need for being understood in Danish, reading e-mails and small talk with your Danish colleagues during lunchbreaks, having lectures in Danish and just getting to know the Danish way of living and Denmark.
The Danish Education covers a total of six modules. Each module is completed with a test. A test has to be passed for continuing on to next module. The Danish Education can be completed with a final exam.
The tuition takes place twice a week for example Tuesday and Thursday from 16.30 to 18.30 either at the campus or online.
We also have continuously intake at the University when we have enough participants. It is always possible to join a class at CLAVIS if the time of tuition do not fit the calendar. The tuition will take place in a classroom tuition, online or as blended learning.
The Danish Education is free of charge, but a deposit has to be paid at the amount of 2.000 DKK. The full deposit will be reimbursed when completing the modules with a test within a certain timeframe or taking the final exam. Read more about rules for reimbursement of deposit.
