The Danish language classes will continue in August 2025.
In addition to The Official Danish Education Course, it will be possible to register for Kollegadansk, which focuses on work situations and conversations.

To join or continue the classes, you must sign up via the link further down this post. CLAVIS needs various info from you.
If you are new to join classes, you will be contacted by CLAVIS to determine your language level.
Note: levels from Module 2 and up will be enrolled in the new semester.

The Danish Education contains 6 modules. Each module ends with a test and will finally be completed with a certified Danish exam.
Modules
Each level concludes with a module test. You will be tested in four disciplines: reading comprehension, listening comprehension, written production, and oral production.
We expect you to have a quick progression and to learn rapidly. We also expect you to allocate time to work with Danish between lessons.

Kollegadansk focuses on oral communication at work. In addition to conversation, the focus is on cultural understanding. Participants are encouraged to bring experiences and challenges into the teaching.

Note: Kollegadansk is for level module 3 and above.
Approximately one week before the classes begin, all participants will receive a personal invitation from CLAVIS. This invitation will include detailed information about the class, its scheduled day, and the assigned meeting room. Calendar invites, including Teams links for the Danish Education , will also be sent out beforehand.
For Microsoft employees who moved to Denmark within the last 5 years and are entitled to Danish Education under the Danish Education Legislation, the classes are free of charge. However, there is a deposit requirement of 2,000 DKK per person. CLAVIS will handle the receipt and refund of the deposit. To get the deposit reimbursed, participants must complete the modules with a test. If a module is not completed, the deposit will NOT be reimbursed. More information can be found here.
For employees no longer entitled to Danish Education under the Danish Education Legislation, Microsoft will cover the cost of the classes, and no deposit is required.
There is a possibility that spouses/partners can join the classes with the same rules as Microsoft employees, but only if there are spots available. Microsoft employees will be prioritized.
You must sign-up your partner by the form below. In case of acceptance, it is not guaranteed that your partner/spouse will be in the same group as you, as it depends on the language level.
