From Dream to Reality: Zafer’s Journey with Language, Culture, and Career

When Zafer moved to Denmark in 2021, he had a clear dream: to advance his career as an IT engineer. Determined to embrace a new culture and build a strong foundation for his life in Denmark, he quickly discovered that the key to thriving – both professionally and personally – was mastering the Danish language. That’s why Zafer enrolled in the Danish Education Programme 3 at CLAVIS soon after his arrival.

Five Years Later – and More Opportunities Than Ever

Today, Zafer proudly holds his certificate for completing Danish Education 3 at CLAVIS – and he wears a big smile. Learning Danish has opened countless doors for him:

It helps me understand Danish work culture better. Most importantly, it enables me to communicate more effectively with my Danish colleagues.

But Zafer didn’t stop there. With his improved language skills, he also took on volunteer work, creating even more opportunities to engage with the Danish community.

Looking ahead, Zafer’s goal is to continue growing – both personally and professionally:

In the long run, I hope to pursue further education or training in Denmark to expand my career opportunities. I also want to feel even more integrated into Danish society, make new friends, and maybe start a family here.
