An adventurous journey into Danish language and culture!
At CLAVIS, we believe that language learning is more than just receiving information and working in textbooks.
Reading Week gives students the opportunity to explore the Danish language and culture in a fun, engaging and motivating way.
The program is packed with exciting activities adapted to the different levels of the program:
- Reading and Comprehension: For students who want to immerse themselves in a good book and improve their reading skills.
- Cut and Paste: For students who need to use their hands more and put words and sentences together.
- Poetry writing: For students who like more creative and philosophical approaches to language learning.
- Riddle hunting: Especially for young learners, where movement combined with learning creates a fun and interactive way to engage learners. They follow clues from one item to the next.
The Reading Week approach to language learning ensures that each student has a tailored experience that both challenges and inspires. Reading Week aims to strengthen students’ linguistic confidence, improve their literacy and communication skills, and give them a deeper understanding of Danish culture. And this week we have revived an old classic – because who doesn’t love Hans Christian Andersen?
