“I came to Denmark in 2012 with a business residence permit.
In New York I worked as a dentist and my goal was to work as a dentist in Denmark.
In order to work as a dentist in Denmark, I first had to pass an authorization exam. This exam is held in Danish. Therefore, I went to language school, where I passed the PD3 exam. But I didn’t feel it was enough. That’s why I started FVU Danish at CLAVIS. Here I expanded my vocabulary and my writing skills as well as my confidence when speaking and reading Danish.
Danish is difficult, but I think FVU at CLAVIS helped me improve my Danish and made it easier for me to get by in Denmark. My course meant that I can now become a dentist in Denmark.
